FS-9 Product specific
adapter
The product specific adapter can be used for assembled phones.
FS-9 is an interface between a phone and the concerning SS-46 or
SS-62 device. It is needed in case the assembled phone needs to be
contacted, except the DKU-2 or the CA-53 cable can be used (over USB).
Features include:
• Compatible to SS-46 (similar to DCT-4 flash adapter), supports
flashing
• Compatible to SS-62 (similar to DCT-4 docking station adapter), a
PC can be connected by using SS-46 or CU-4
• Using SS-46: flashing is supported
• Using CU-4: supports flashing, management calibration is
supported. If the RF-coupler SA-76 is attached RF-Go/NoGo
testing is supported as well
• Easy phone attachment and detachment
• Reliable phone locking
• Replaceable test pins
Note: When attaching the phone the FS-9 adapter (which
might be connected to SS-46 or SS-62/CU-4), the phone
powers up in
normal mode
and not in
local mode
like other
phones. This has to do with BSI indicator of the battery
interfaceRM-70. It is possible to flash the phone like usual or
change to
local mode
.
JBT-9 Bluetooth test and
interface box (sales
package)
The JBT-9 test box is a generic service device used to perform
Bluetooth bit error rate (BER) testing, and establishing cordless FBUS
connection via Bluetooth. An ACP-8x charger is needed for BER testing
and an AXS-4 cable in case of cordless interface usage testing .
