Use the Notifications app to see what's happening with your friends.
Sign in to your social networking services.

In the Notifications app, select

, scroll left or right, and select

Chat with your friends
Do you like chatting online with your friends? You can send instant messages with your phone when
you're out on the town.
You must be connected to the internet to chat.
Before you can use chat, set up a chat service on your phone. You need a Nokia account to chat.
Select
Menu
>
Chat
>
Chat
, and sign in. If asked, select which SIM to use.
If you don't have a chat account, you can sign in to Nokia Chat during setup.
If you have added friends to your chat contacts, they are automatically included in your contacts. You
can also chat with others than just your chat contacts.

Select an account, and sign in.

Select a chat service, write the username, and select

Send
.

Write your message in the text box, and select

Tip:
To quickly start a chat with a contact, select your contact in your list of friends and
Send
.
You can have several conversations going on at the same time. To switch between conversations,
select one in
Conversations
.
