If there is a message on the TV to connect or disconnect the Nunchuk, toggle the

Nunchuk switch.

Button on the GamePad and then

tapping the

Wii U Menu

.

2.3 Playing a Wii Game

The Wii U console is backwards compatible with nearly all existing Wii games. If you have

any Wii Game Discs, they can be played with this Fun Center unit using the Wii Remote Plus

and Nunchuk.

To play a Wii game:

1. Make sure there is not a game disc in the Wii U console. If the disc LED is lit, then

there is a disc inside the console. Press the

EJECT

Button to remove the disc from the

console.

Note

The Wii U GamePad cannot be used as a controller for Wii games, but it can

be used to view gameplay. Use the Wii Remote Plus and Nunchuk controllers to

play Wii games.
