After the Wireless LAN Adapter installation, you will see the icon [
]on the Windows task bar. The user can configure
the wireless settings using the Wireless Adapter Configuration Utility. Double-click the utility icon that appears in the
taskbar.

When you click this icon, you can see 4 different links:
Launch Config Utilities, Informations, Hide
and
Exit.
Double-click the Wireless LAN icon (or right-click and then select
Launch Config Utilities
) to launch the Configuration
Utility. By using the Wireless Adapter utility, users can configure all the Wireless Monitor Utility provided functions.
The Wireless Monitor Utility includes 6 tabs:
General, Profile, Available Network, Status, Statistics, WPS.

In Network page, the software will display surrounding APs data, obtained with the last scan. Displayed data includes SSID,
Signal, Channel, Encryption algorithm, and Network type as shown in picture.
Rescan:
issue a rescan command to the wireless NIC, to update available data about surrounding wireless networks.
Add to Profile:
select an AP profile, click
Add to Profile
. It will bring up the profile page and saves the user settings to a
new profile.
If the selected AP supports WEP or WPA/WPA2 you have to choose Authentication and Security tab in order to connect
to the wireless network.
