Setting the Application Gamma
You can set an application gamma value and decide whether
you want to use the application gamma correction function.
Choose
Gamma Correction…
from the pop-up menu at the
top left corner of the Main dialog box.
Note:
Depending on the scanner selected, the options which
appear in the pop-up menu above may differ from those shown
here. Please see the appendix appropriate to the scanner you are
using.
When
Gamma Correction…
is chosen from the menu, the
Manual Gamma Correction dialog box appears.
You can set a Gamma value between 1.0 to 3.0 when the
Use
Application Gamma
check box is unchecked. If you want to
use the application gamma correction value, insert a check mark
and click the
OK
button.
