C
CAUTION – Before removing the CF card from the instrument, turn off the instrument. If you
remove the card while the instrument is ON, it might result in card malfunction.
C
CAUTION – Nikon recommends that you use the authorized CF card (P/N HXA20657).
Although it may be possible to use other CF cards, the performance and reliability are unknown
and cannot be guaranteed.
Inserting a CF card into the card slot
1.
To open the card slot cover, rotate the knob
clockwise by 90 degrees so that the
protrusion on the knob is set to the OPEN
position.
Note –
Do NOT rotate the knob on the slot cover
beyond the limit as this may damage the knob.
2.
Place the CF card with its blank side facing
outward, and with the connector-side facing
down, and then insert the card into the slot.
Note –
Make sure that you place the card
correctly in relation to the slot before you push the
card into the slot. If the card is not placed
correctly and you then push it too hard in the
wrong direction it may malfunction.
3.
Make sure that the protrusion on the knob is
set to the OPEN (vertical) position and then
close the cover.
