Editing Movies
When editing movies, use a sufficiently charged battery to prevent the camera from
turning off during editing. When the battery level indicator is
B
, movie editing is not
possible.
Extracting Only the Desired Portion of a Movie
The desired portion of a recorded movie can be saved as a separate file.

Play back a desired movie and pause at the start point of the
portion that you want to extract (

Use the multi selector

to select the

control, and then press the

button.

(choose start
point).

Use

or rotate the command dial to move the
start point.
•
To cancel editing, select
O
(back), and press the
k
button.

(choose end point).

or rotate the command dial to move the
end point.

To preview the specified portion, use
HI
to
select
F
and then press the
k
button. Press the
k
button again to stop previewing.
