Do not store the battery with metallic objects that may cause a short circuit.

Immediately discontinue use of the battery if the battery emits an unusual smell,
feels hot, changes color, changes shape or appears abnormal in any way.

Keep out of the reach of children.
INITIAL USE
y
Fully charge the NSR-1514C before the first use, or if the battery is new or has been
unused for several months. The maximum charge time required is approximately 3
hours.
DAILY USE
y
Use only the supplied Nightstick AC, DC adapter, or USB cord. For best performance,
charge the NSR-1514C when the light starts to dim.
y
Remove the rubber plug from the charging port on the bottom of the light.
y
Connect the AC, DC adapter, or USB cord into the bottom of the light.
y
The total time to full charge the NSR-1514C varies depending on the remaining

PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING YOUR WORK LIGHT.
Please read these instructions before using your NSR-1514C. They include important
safety and operation information. Be sure to charge the 1514C fully before the first use.

In order for the light to be waterproof the rubber plug must be reinserted into the
charging port.
SETTING UP THE WORK LIGHT
Opening the tripod leg set:
y
Fully unfold the Tripod leg set and slide the center collar down until it locks into place.
WARNING: Do NOT attempt to use the tripod leg set unless the legs are fully
extended and locked into place. This is the ONLY position that the leg set can be
used in.
Closing the tripod leg set:
y
Press the release button on the side of the center collar and then raise the center
collar up until the tripod leg set is fully retracted.
Adjusting the column sections:
y
The tripod has two adjustable sections of the column that can be used to customize
the working height of the work light. Each section is locked into place by means of a
cam lock lever. To adjust the height of either section, release the cam lock lever for that
section, extend the column to the desired length and the re-lock the cam lock lever.
Removing the light head from the tripod:
y
The NSR-1514C is designed so that the light head can be removed from the tripod.
To remove the light head, grasp the lights handle with one hand, and grasp the top of
the tripod stand with the other hand a pull the magnet apart from the mounting plate.
Installing the light head onto the tripod:
CAUTION: Before installing the light head on to the tripod, be certain that the leg
set is fully extended and locked in place and that both of the two column cam lock
levers are securely locked.

To install the light head on to the tripod, simply line up the light heads magnetic base
with the tripods mounting plate allowing the magnet to secure itself to mounting plate.
Be sure place the light head directly onto the center of the mounting plate so that the
light head is securely mounted.
OPERATION
CAUTION: BECAUSE THE NSR-1514C HAS A MAGNETIC BASE, IT IS LIKELY
THAT IT WILL BE PLACED IN AN ELEVATED POSITION ABOVE THE GROUND.
THEREFORE CAUTION SHOULD BE USED TO BE CERTAIN THAT THE MAGNET
IS SECURELY ATTACHED TO THE METAL SURFACE BEFORE RELEASING THE
LIGHT. IT IS ALSO ADVISED THAT EXTRA CARE BE TAKEN WHEN ADJUSTING
OR MOVING THE CORD SO THAT THE WORK LIGHT DOES NOT COME LOOSE
AND FALL TO THE GROUND.
The NSR-1514C has a single sealed push button switch located on the back of the
light head.
Turning the light on high mode:

Press and release the button one time.
Turning the light on low mode:
y
Press and release the button a second time.
Turning the light off:
y
Press and release the button a third time.
WARRANTY
1 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Bayco Products, Inc. warrants this product to be free from defects in workmanship
and materials to the original purchaser for one (1) year from the date of purchase, and
includes the LEDs, housing, lenses, electronics, switches, rechargeable batteries and
chargers. Bulbs (other than LEDs) are covered for ninety (90) days from the date of
purchase. Disposable non-rechargeable batteries are excluded from this warranty.
Normal wear and failures which are caused by accidents, misuse, abuse, faulty
installation and lightning damage are also excluded.
Consequential damages, incidental damages or incidental expenses, including
damage to property are also not covered under this warranty. Some states do not
allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above
limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights,
which may vary from state to state.
IN NO EVENT WILL BAYCO PRODUCTS, INC. OR ITS AFFILIATES OR SUPPLIERS
BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL
DAMAGES OF ANY KIND REGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF ACTION, WHETHER
