• The notching tool is only allowed to be used and operated by a
single
person with sufficient
professional knowledge (specialist).
• The operator has read this manual as well as the manual for the drive / basic unit of the cor
-
responding manufacturer and understood their content.
• Before operating the notching tool (punching tool) the operator has to be
instructed in its use.
• The operator respects the relevant guidelines and safety regulations.
• The operator checks the notching tool before the punching process for wear and damages.
• The notching tool is not to be used in case any damages or irregularities are noticed.
• The operator pays attention to use a clean, even and solid surface for the surface metal
raceway in the planned punching process.
• The cover of the surface metal raceway is removed and no foreign bodies etc. and cables
are located in the area of the notching tool.
• Both hands of the operator are in the punching process at the designated
places on the drive / basic unit (see section 9: Operation)
• The operator has to visually observe the punching process.

CAUTIoN:
Risk of crushing or cutting in the area of the notching tool.
• In case the notching tool gets tilted and/or jammed in the punching process,
the battery has
to be removed from the drive
and the entire tool has to be competently removed from the
surface metal raceway.
• The operator wears the personal protective equipment (work gloves, work shoes, safety
goggles etc.).
• The operating company ensures all of the measures above and monitors their compliance.
