5. Troubleshooting
Description of error Solution
The infrared heater is not illuminated
or is not heating. Check whether the plug is correctly con-
nected to the control unit.
Check whether the control unit is work-
ing correctly. If necessary, contact the
control unit manufacturer.
In rare cases, the cause may be a faulty
infrared emitter.
The infrared heater constantly switches
off during operation. Check whether an adequate volume
of air can circulate on the rear of the
radiator.
If the ventilation is adequate, the safety
temperature limiter (STL) may be faulty.
In this case, contact your retailer.
Insufficient heat is emitted. Check the set dimming level on your
control unit.
If the heat is constantly too low, remove
the counter reflector as described in 4.5.
The heating effect or light distribution
is too uneven for your preferences. Fit the counter-reflector.
