8.7 Adjusting the Bevel Position

When the finished bevel of a lens is displaced from the designated position, adjust the bevel
position by changing the bevel constant.

1. Check the bevel position.

1) Read the traced data.

2) Process a lens of SPH: 0.0 D - +1.0 D.

3) Check the part where the edge is rather thin

to see if the point of the bevel is in the middle
of the edge.

If the bevel is leaning to either side, adjust
it by the following procedure.
