• Using the Meritor WABCO ABS Application (Tractor)
Test Engine Datalink
With the engine running at approximately 1000 rpm, and the J-1922 data link
properly installed between the ECU and ABS/ATC ECU, you can use the ENGINE
DATALINK function to monitor the change in engine torque and rpm.
NOTE:

This function can only be used of Automatic Traction Control (ATC) is
installed on the vehicle.

Connect Brake-Link™ to the tractor and power-up (see “Connecting
Brake-Link™ Components”, on page 8). Brake-Link™ starts and presents
the

screen.
Use the and keys to select MERITOR WABCO ABS ; press
.

Brake-Link™ displays navigation options; use the and keys to
select
MENU NAVIGATION,
and press .
Brake-Link™ presents the
Protocol Selection
screen.

Use the and keys to select the desired option and press .

Brake-Link™ auto-detects the Meritor WABCO ABS ECUs present for the
protocol you selected.

If both are detected, Brake-Link™ prompts you to select TRACTOR or
TRAILER; use the and keys to select TRACTOR .
