Test Retarder Datalink
Use the
RETARDER DATALINK
option to momentarily disable an electronic
retarder that uses a J-1922 or J-1939 data link.
NOTE:

This is an ABS/STC function. This function may not be available if it is not
detected by the ECU.

Connect Brake-Link™ to the tractor and power-up (see “Connecting
Brake-Link™ Components”, on page 8). Brake-Link™ starts and presents
the

screen.
Use the and keys to select
MERITOR WABCO ABS

Brake-Link™ displays navigation options; use the and keys to
select
MENU NAVIGATION
and press .
Brake-Link™ presents the Protocol Selection screen.

Use the and keys to select the desired option and press .
NOTE:

Brake-Link™ auto-detects the Meritor WABCO ABS ECUs present for the
protocol you selected.

If both are detected, Brake-Link™ prompts you to select TRACTOR or
TRAILER; use the and keys to select TRACTOR .
