Chapter 3: System Setup

7. Close the load plate. While closing the load plate, make sure the front

edge of the load plate slides under the retention knob.

8. Push the load lever down and hook the load lever under the retention tab.

Do not force the CPU into the socket. Forcing the CPU into
the socket may bend the pins and damage the CPU.
