To do so, simply right-click on any of the following items to open the Rename Input dialog
(Figure 64):

Any monitor in the All Monitors pane (except Preview)

Any Switcher source button

Any Virtual Input tab
The dialog has two editable text fields, Input Name and Button Label. The latter is a short name
that will be shown on Switcher buttons, while the longer name is used where more room is
available to display it.
6.4.3 DUAL DISPLAYS AND MONITORING
The Live Desktop monitor tabs and specific Multiview options can be flexibly combined to show
what you want to see, where you want to see it.
Note: These options are suitable when Multiview output is not tasked to projection or similar
display duties.
For example, select the External layout for the Multiview output. Then select the Internal
Monitors tab on the Live Desktop – or reverse these choices. You’ll get much larger views of all
sources this way.
Alternatively, choose the All Monitors tab as the Multiview layout, and drag the horizontal
divider between the monitors above and the Switcher to re-size the monitors. Drag the divider
all the way of the top of the Live Desktop to completely hide the monitors, providing much larger
playlists or controls in the tabbed panels below in the process.
