Enable/Disable Character
You can specify the value of the RS-232 host command used to enable or disable the scanner’s ability to
read barcode. ASCII characters or any hex value can be selected. Default Enable character= “E” (HEX:
45); default Disable character= “D” (HEX: 44).
Set Enable Character Set Disable Character
Example: Set the Enable character to “K” (0x4B)
1. Scan the Enter Setup barcode.
2. Scan the Set Enable Character barcode.
3. Scan the numeric barcodes “4” and “B” from the “Digit Barcodes” section in Appendix.

Save barcode from the “Save/Cancel Barcodes” section in Appendix.
5. Scan the Exit Setup barcode.
