7 - MAINTENANCE

Oil filter - Replace

The Hydrostatic Transmission (HST) system uses a
spin-on type oil filter, located on the right-side of the
tractor underneath the operator's platform.

To replace the filter

(1)

:

1.

Unscrew the used oil filter and discard.

2.

Coat the gasket on the new filter with a film of clean
oil. Screw the filter into place until the gasket con-
tacts the sealing surface, then tighten the filter by
hand approximately three-quarters of a turn. Do
not overtighten.

3.

Start the engine and check the filter for leaks.

4.

Stop the engine and check the hydraulic system oil
level. Add oil if necessary.
