Log Plug-in Modules

307

NTAudit Event Listener

The event listener named

NTAudit

is an instance of the

NTEventLog

module.

Certificate Management System automatically creates this listener during
installation. By default, the listener is configured as follows:

•

The rule is enabled.

•

The type is set to log audit messages (

type=audit

).

•

The log level is set to 1 (

level=Information

).

•

The event source identifies the name of the CMS instance that’s logging the
events.

For details on individual parameters defined in the listener, see Table 8-3 on
page 306.

NTSystem Event Listener

The event listener named

NTSystem

is an instance of the

NTEventLog

module.

Certificate Management System automatically creates this listener during
installation. By default, the listener is configured as follows:

•

The rule is enabled.

•

The type is set to log system messages (

type=system

).

•

The log level is set to 2 (

level=Warning

).

•

The event source identifies the name of the CMS instance that’s logging the
events.

For details on individual parameters defined in the listener, see Table 8-3 on
page 306.
