Orbi AC satellite LED behavior
An Orbi AC satellite has a Power LED on the back and a Ring LED on the top.
The following table describes the LED behavior.
Note: The Orbi AC satellite model RBW30 does not include a Power LED.

Power is on.
Solid green
The satellite is booting.
Solid amber
The satellite’s firmware is resetting to its factory default settings.
Blinking amber
The satellite’s firmware is corrupted.
Blinking red
Power is not supplied
Off
Ring LED
The satellite is booting.
Pulsing white
The satellite is ready to sync to the router (press the Sync button on the
router).
Solid white
The connection between the satellite and the router is good.
Blue for three minutes
The connection between the satellite and the router is fair.
Amber for three
minutes
The satellite is not connected to the router or is not getting an IP address.
Magenta
The satellite synced to the router and is working normally.
Off
Place your satellite
Your satellite must be within range of your router’s WiFi signal in order for it to sync with
the router. Use the satellite’s ring LED to help you determine where to place your satellite.
