Port Forwarding
Port forwarding is a method of sending network packets to a specific machine behind a NAT (network address translation) firewall. It
is only necessary to create a port forwarding rule if you are hosting a server of some sort, such as a web server, email server or
game server on your private local network.
To configure a port forwarding rule:
Check the option Enable Port Forwarding to enable port forwarding.
Click the Apply Changes button.
Use the Comment field to enter any comments about the rule to help you remember what it is for.
Enter the IP Address and port you want to be forwarded in Local IP / Local Port to / Local Port from fields. (Ensure IP
Address is reserved or static before port forwarding)
From the Protocol drop-down list, select the whether to allow TCP packet, UDP packets or both.
Click the Add button.
