Validating remote access via the Service Processor

line. The IP address of the SP interface must be on the same subnet as the primary interface. The SP interface
and primary interface are connected to the wrench port on the AltaVault by means of an internal switch.

The following commands show an example of how to validate the remote access using the SP.

Connect to the Service Processor using one of the following methods:



Connect to the serial console port and log in to the AltaVault. Press Ctrl+G to get into Service Processor
mode. To exit service processor mode, press Ctrl+D.



SSH to the IP address of the Service Processor. Log in using the password set previously.
