3.4 Install 2.5” SATA HDD/SSD
Nuvo-5095GC series has two SATA ports for connecting SATA HDD or SSD drives. They
are used in conjunction with the HDD bracket on the trap-door to accommodate two 2.5”
HDD/SSD. Please follow instructions described in this section to install SATA HDD/SSD to
your Nuvo-5095GC controller.
1. Put the Nuvo-5095GC controller upside down on a flat surface. You can see the
trapdoor exposed. Use a Philips screwdriver to loosen three M3 flat-head screws and
remove the trapdoor from the bottom cover.
2. Get the HDD thermal pad from the accessory box. Remove protective films on both
sides and place the thermal pad on the center of HDD bracket.
3. Place the HDD/SSD into the bracket and gently push it down to make it contact with
the thermal pad. Use a Philips screwdriver to fix it with M3 flat-head screws from the
accessory box. Please note that the HDD must be placed in the right direction as
below.
