Powering the product on and off
Switch on NEON NITRO 8 using the power switch on the side . Always make sure the product is on
the ground in the ready-to-ride position before switching it ON.
Make sure the NEON NITRO 8 is in the OFF state when you are charging, storing or carrying it.
Warning!
Never pick up the product when the switch is in the ON position as the wheel may spin and cause
a safety hazard.
Caution!
Do not press the foot sensor pad on the board while powering product ON. Wait until it has turned
completely on before stepping on the sensor.
How to ride the NEON NITRO 8
Basic balance:
As the Neon Nitro 8 is self-balancing you should use slow, small movements to get on to the board.
When the product is on the ground one side will naturally be lower than the other. Always step on
to the lower side first.
Make sure your foot is securely placed to help you balance. Then place your other foot on the foot
sensor area on the higher side. Keep your legs slightly bent until you feel ready to go. Stand up
slowly and the board will engage.
Always wear a helmet. Lean on a friend to get started.
Slowly straighten up to get balance.
Look in the direction you want to go. Avoid looking at the ground as this will throw you off-balance.
The NEON NITRO 8 will engage when it reaches a horizontal orientation.
Direction and speed
Lean forward to move forward and lean back to slow down or go backwards . The more extreme
your body positioning on your lean, the faster you will go.
Turning
Use subtle heel–to–toe pressure for turning left to right. You will begin to turn in the direction you
lean. The more you lean, the sharper the turn.
