5.6.1 Tightening the ball nut adapter-plate

Ball nut adapter plate

Tighten the screws on the ball nut plate/bracket as shown in the figure.

Avoid tightening too tightly. The seal has a minimum of flexibility to compensate for misalignment of
the system. Tightening too much means your system is less flexible to adapt to a misalignment.
