7 RS485 Network P
To set up the network, follow these steps:
1. For the connection setup between the PC and FG7 module, refer to the FG7
installer manual. The PC to FG7 link is optional to run the NEMTEK Fenceprobe
software.
2. For the FG7:
a. Set the FG7 up by following the steps in section 7.2.
b. Connect the GND, RX+ and RX- wires going to all RS485/fibre converters to the
RS458 OUT GND, A and B terminals of the FG7 (see FG7 figure in section 7.2).
c. Connect the GND, TX+ and TX- wires coming from all the RS485/fibre
converters to the RS485 IN GND, A and B terminals of the FG7 (see FG7 figure
in section 7.2).
