Default UX Mail Configuration

Voice Storage Capacity

The voice storage capacity of UX Mail is determined by the CompactFlash card installed on the blade. The
choices are:

Licensing

Demo Mode

After UX Mail powers up for the first time, it will run in the

Demo Mode

. This means:

●

All 16 voice mail ports are functional.

●

Multilingual Voice Prompts provides 7 languages.

●

200 Unified Messaging seats are enabled.

●

Hospitality is enabled.

Licensed Mode

When the

Demo Mode

period expires, UX Mail will run in the

Licensed Mode

. This means that unless addi-

tional licenses are purchased and installed:

●

4 voice mail ports are functional.

●

Multilingual Voice Prompts provides 4 languages:

- English Mnemonic
- English Numeric
- Canadian French
- Mexican Spanish.

●

10 seats of Unified Messaging are enabled.

●

Hospitality is disabled.

• After the demo period, the UX Mail will reset and the demo mode will automatically cancel. Any

licensing you have added will automatically take effect.

• After adding a license, you

reset the UX Mail blade for the license to take effect.
