8LC Card [SCA-8LCA/SCA-8LCA-EMEA/SCA-8LCC/SCA-8LCC-EMEA]
5.1.5
Service Conditions
Before the use of 8LC Card, note the following conditions.
1.
8LC Card is controlled by SP-PHI. Internal PHE registration is required to activate SP-PHI. To turn SP-
PHI and the Telephony Server (Signaling Processor) effective, assign the following system data. When
the system data is changed, be sure to initialize the Internal PHI-BRI/Internal PHE module with the
ADPM command
- ASYDL, SYS 1, INDEX880, Bit1=1 (Internal PHI-PRI/BRI is available)
- ASYDL, SYS 1, INDEX880, Bit3=1 (Internal PHE is available)
- ASYDL, SYS 1, INDEX885, Bit7=1 (SP Implementation is available)
2.
8LC Card supports Location Diversity [L-55].
3.
8LC Card requests registration to SP-PHI, not to Internal PHE.
4.
When SP-PHI has fewer than eights ports of vacant ports to the REGMAX, though 8LC Card can use the
vacant ports up to the REGMAX, the system cannot assign the ports of 8LC Card exceeding the REG-
MAX.
5.
Other Analog MC’s station data can be assigned on the same Group of LENS, however, it is recom-
mended to assign only the 8LC Card’s station data on the same Group.
6.
8LC Card supports Hotel system.
7.
8LC Card supports PB only.
8.
Conditions on fault monitoring:
•
SP-PHI and 8LC Card are connected via UDP/IP. So periodic diagnosis is activated in proprietary
method. When any fault is detected in periodic diagnosis, System Message [33-S] IP PKG Warning:
Health Check Error is output on the LENS of SP-PHI.
•
When communication error is detected in sending control packets between Internal PHE and SP-PHI,
System Message [33-R] IP PKG Warning: Sending Timeout is output on the LENS of Internal PHE.
The System Message is output when control packet sending timeout occurs continuously 8 times or
more.
9.
Use the following maintenance command to display the operating state related to 8LC Card:
•
IPAN: to display the connection status between the Telephony Server and 8LC Card.
<IP terminal tab> Select “8MC [SIP]” under the category of SIP Media Converter.
<Package> Select the LENS of SP-PHI. The number of registration/login on SP-PHI is displayed.
•
DIPI: to display IP equipment information. Select “8MC (SIP)” under the category of SIP Media Con-
verter.
•
DISD: to display the registration status of IP stations.
<View Type: Station>
Specify the station number of target analog terminal. SP-PHI’s LENS is dis-
played on PH LENS, and PHI is displayed as PH TYPE.
<View Type: PH Control> Specify the LENS of SP-PHI to display the registration status on SP-PHI.
*Other type of IP equipment (MG) is not displayed.
