Slide the 3 1/2-inch hard drive bracket towards the back of the system unit
until it is free of the molded plastic.

Remove the screw on the side of the hard drive securing it to the bracket.

6. Slowly pull the hard drive away from the bracket and lift the drive out of the
two securing tabs on the opposite side of the bracket.
Standard 3 1/2-Inch Hard Drive Removal
Remove the standard 3 1/2-inch hard drive as follows.
1.
Remove the system access cover and front panel as previously described.
2.
Unplug the hard drive power and signal cables from the optional hard drive.
3.
Locate the two screws securing the 3 1/2-inch hard drive in the molded
plastic cage at the front of the system. Remove the screws.
4.
Release the two plastic clips inside the plastic cage holding the drive in
place and slide the drive up and out of the cage.
