Powering-on

Turn on the power switches of the host system, including the disk array unit and host bus
adapter.

The further a unit is located from the host system, the earlier its power must be turned on.
Turn on the power switches in the following order: the attached disk enclosure, the disk array
unit, and then the host system. Turn on the power of the host system when the DIR LED on
the disk array unit starts blinking. See "4.3 (1) Power-on Procedure" for detail.

Starting the host system

Start the host system to which the disk array unit is connected.
