1.2.2 OPTION 2: From the Front Panel
1. Press and hold the POWER button on the front panel for three
seconds.
2. Enter the administrator’s Username and Password in the dialog box
for authentication.
3. Click the Yes button.
1.3 Rebooting the NVR
From the Shutdown menu, you can also reboot the NVR.
1. Access the Shutdown menu:
Menu > Shutdown
2. Click the Logout button to lock the NVR or the Reboot button to reboot the
NVR.

For first-time access, you need to activate the device by setting an admin password.
No operation is allowed before activation. You can also activate the device via Web
Browser, SADP or Client Software.
To activate the device:
1. Enter the same password in the Create New Password and Confirm New
Password text fields.
NOTE

Do not press the POWER button again while the system is
shutting down.
