Note: Whether you should use Backward Compatibility Mode or not depends on your
Messaging Application. So, please check with the supplier of the Messaging
Application whether this Backward Compatibility mode should be set or not.
6.2 Inside Information
In the following screen capture you can see the translation to the Generic PPMSG
commands in detail. Please note that the text strings are the default text strings. You can
adapt these strings, however, it is strongly recommended to keep the defaults! Note that
the text strings are used in the Messenger Application to generate alarms. If you change
the strings, and you do not adapt the Messenger Application, probably the Messenger
Application cannot handle the incoming alarm strings anymore
