Operation

Care of Seat Belts

WARNING

To prevent property damage, personal injury,
and / or death, do not bleach or re-dye seat belt
webbing. Bleaching or re-dyeing may cause a
weakening of the webbing.

Clean the belts occasionally with mild soap; do not use cleaning
solvents or abrasives.

The entire seat belt assembly should be inspected periodically
for corrosion, wear, fraying, or weak spots. The retractor, latch,
and buckle should be checked for proper function, and all seat
belt mounting bolts should be tight at all times.
