Disassembling the kayak: proceed in the reverse order of assembly,
scrupulously respecting the order of handling:

Remove the seat and the floor.

Remove the cockpit rim from the back to the front.

Remove the masik (crossrib n°4)

Remove les épontilles

Release crossrib no. 5 (the one behind the seat) and rotate it to the same
position as during assembly. (Key step for easy disassembly)

Disassemble the gunwhales and stringers by pulling them towards the centre
of the boat.

Release the keel tensioner.
Take the kayak by the front point and shake it to separate the skin to the frame : it will
be easier to get the frame out of the skin. Pull out the front frame. Do the same for the
rear. Dismantle the frame.
Fold the skin over onto its side with the deck folded down inside. The kayak should be
dry, if you have to store it while it is still wet, do not delay in unfolding it and drying it
to avoid the appearance of mould.

Kayak maintenance
: rince your boat on the inside and outside after
each outing at sea. Rub with a sponge to get the salt away. Wash it with
soapy water if necessary. Dry it carefully before storing it in its bag for a
long period of time.
