This function is only available via remote connection to the AUI.
The Users menu (see Figure 2.2.41 ) allows a user with the proper permissions to create accounts to
allow certain users to access and control features of the AUI, and receive notifications when critical-
level or maintenance-level alarms occur. To view this menu, select Users from the Settings menu.

Depending on the permission level assigned to a given user, some features shown in
Figure 2.2.42 on page 2.2.69
may not be displayed or available.
Each VX150 to VX2 transmitter has two pre-defined user accounts when it leaves the factory: “Admin”
and “Viewer”. The Admin account has full permissions for configuring the transmitter via the AUI. The
password for the Admin account is "change_me" and the password for the Viewer account is blank.
Nautel recommends that you change the password for the Admin account immediately and store the
new password in a safe place. This will prevent others from changing your password from the default
and locking you out of your transmitter. See
