The

Delete old tests

option determines what happens after 500 tests have been stored

and the memory on Alpha OAE+ is full.

If you select the

Delete old tests

check box, then the oldest test will automatically be

deleted to make room for the newest test.

If you do not select the

Delete old tests

check box, then a message will be displayed

when the memory is full, and you will be required to manually delete old tests. (See

Deleting data

The

Manual start

option determines whether you are able to manually start a meas-

urement after calibration has failed. If the

Manual start

option is enabled and cal-

ibration fails due to large ear canal volume (for example, due to PE tubes in the child's
ears), then a double arrow appears on the result screen. You can then press the double-
arrow to start the measurement with maximum calibrated output levels.

Time and Date setting

1. Press the

Time and Date

button on the

Settings

screen.

You can set the date in the upper part of the

Settings

and the time in the lower

part of the

Settings

Note

If you leave the

Time and Date

screen by pressing the

button, the set-

ting of seconds is set to zero.

2. Press the arrows to select the day (DD), month (MM), year (YYYY), hours (HH) and

minutes (MIN).

3. Press the

Tool

button to change the date and time formats.
