DAC Registers Window
The
DAC Registers
window shows the contents of the EEPROM and DAC registers the last time they
were read. The register contents are shown in hexadecimal and binary. The
Field View
decodes the
register settings into a more user-friendly format.
Change the content of the registers in the following ways:
•
Enter hexadecimal values in the EEPROM and Reg Data columns
•
Click on the individual bits to toggle them
•
Select values from the drop-down lists in the Field View

Use the icons at the top of the window to select which data the window shows.
•
Click on
Write
to program the registers in the TPS65132L device with the contents shown in the GUI
window.
•
Click on
Write Modified
to program only the selected register in the TPS65132L device with the
contents shown in the GUI window.
•
Click on
Read
to refresh only the value of the selected register shown in the GUI window.
•
Click on
Read All
to refresh the value of all registers.
•
Click on
Copy to EEPROM
to copy the current register settings to the EEPROM in the TPS65132L
device. The values in the EEPROM are the ones used by the TPS65132L device during start-up.
•
If
Read From
= EEPROM, the values are read out of the EEPROM when
Read
or
Read All
is clicked.
If
Read From
= Register, the values are read out of the (volatile) registers.
•
If
Mode
= Immediate, any changes made to the register bits or in the Field View have an immediate
effect. If
Mode
= Manual, changes have no effect until
Write Register
is clicked.
