Getting Started with the TB-4162
Kit Contents and Other Equipment
Your kit includes an assembled TB-4162. In addition, you will need the following items not
included in your TB-4162 kit to install and use the TB-4162.

Installing the TB-4162
Complete the following steps to install the TB-4162 with a PXIe-4162 and prepare signal
connections.
Before you begin, install the PXIe-4162 in a chassis and ensure that all signals are
disconnected from the PXIe-4162 if you have not already done so. Refer to the
for installation instructions.

Prepare the wires by stripping the insulation 0.5 mm to 0.6 mm (0.020 in. to 0.025 in.)
from one end of all wires.
Use a ground wire with a minimum wire gauge of 20 AWG for connecting to Output LO.
For all other connections, use signal wires with a wire gauge of 28 to 24 AWG.
