Installing and Configuring the SCXI-1530/1531

To install your SCXI-1530/1531 module into the SCXI chassis, follow
these steps while referring to Figure 1-1:
1.
Turn off the computer that contains or controls the DAQ device or
disconnect it from your SCXI chassis.
2.
Turn off the SCXI chassis.
Caution
Do not insert the SCXI-1530/1531 module into a chassis that is turned on.
3.
Insert the SCXI-1530/1531 into an open slot in the SCXI chassis.
Gently guide the module into the slot guides and push it to the back of
the slot until the front face of the module is flush with the front of the
chassis.
4.
Insert any other SCXI modules into the remaining slots in the same
manner as described in step 3.
5.
Fasten all the SCXI modules to the SCXI chassis using both
thumbscrews.
