page. Configure the stepper output and steps per rev
settings:

Output Mode

Step and Direction

Steps Per rev
depending on the encoder resolution. For example, if you are using an
encoder with 2500 pulses per revolution, set
Steps Per rev
to 2500.

In the
Position Error
section, change the
Position Error Limit
to an acceptable value for
your system. Exceeding the specified position error limit causes NI SoftMotion to disable the
drive and turn off the Drive Enable signal.
