In the Select Network Protocol dialog box that appears, choose the
appropriate manufacturer and protocol from the listboxes.
Because numerous network providers and various protocols are
available in this dialog box, you should consult your network provider's
documentation to discover which protocol listed actually provides
WinSock support from that vendor. For example, Microsoft WinSock
support is available by choosing TCP/IP in the Network Protocols
listbox after choosing Microsoft in the Manufacturers listbox. You
should also consult your network provider's documentation for details
concerning additional configuration steps required for the chosen
protocol.
After you have properly installed and configured WinSock support, run
the Diagnostic utility again.
