ISOLATION

The FD-11634 provides channel-to-channel isolation. Input signals on each channel are
conditioned, buffered, and then sampled by an ADC. Each AI channel provides an
independent signal path and ADC, enabling you to sample all channels simultaneously. AI
channels are referenced to isolated ground through a 50 Ω resistor. AC/DC coupling is
software-selectable. For AI channels set to AC coupling, IEPE excitation current is
software-selectable. The FD-11634 features TEDS Class I circuitry. The FieldDAQ device
provides overvoltage protection for each channel; refer to the

FD-11634 Specifications

for

more information about overvoltage protection.

Signal Input Connectors

The FD-11634 features eight 5-pin A-coded M12 connectors: Bank 1 connectors 0 through 3
and Bank 2 connectors 0 through 3. The following figure shows the pinout of a signal input
connector.
