AT-GPIB for SCO UNIX
Step 2. Install the Hardware
Before installing your AT-GPIB board, make sure that the hardware
jumpers and switches (base I/O address switch, interrupt jumper, and DMA
channel jumper) are set to match the default software settings.
Install the AT-GPIB board by completing the following steps:
1.
Turn off your computer.
2.
Unplug the power cord.
3.
Remove the cover.
4.
Plug the AT-GPIB board into an unused 16-bit slot (you may have to
remove a blank expansion slot cover bracket).
5.
Screw the AT-GPIB board mounting bracket to the back panel rail.
6.
Replace the cover.
7.
Plug the power cord into the wall outlet.
8.
Turn your computer back on.
The AT-GPIB board is now installed and ready for verification testing.
