Maintenance and service
Attention! Risk of el. shock. Prior to start any operation,
pull the plug out of the socket!
The vent holes of the engine cover (26) must not get plugged. Grease
the pull rod (10) and guide bell (3) occasionally with several oil drops.
The cable can only be replaced in an authorised electric workshop which
holds a relevant licence to perform these types of activities.
Attention! With respect to protection from el. shock and
preservation of the class of protection, all maintenance
and service operations requesting jig saw case removal
must be performed by the authorized service centre only!
The current list of authorized service centres can be found at our website
www.narex.cz
, section
“Service Centres”
.
Storage
Wrapped machine can be stored in a dry storage without heating, where
the temperature does not drop below -5 °C.
Keep unwrapped machine in a dry storage only, where the temperature
does not drop below +5 °C, and where accidental temperature changes
are prevented.
Recycling
Electric tools, accessories and packages should be delivered for re - as-
sessment, not damaging the environment.
For EU countries only:
Do not throw electric tools in domestic refuse!
According to European Directive No. 2002/96/EC on obsolete electric
and electronic furnishings, and its enforcement in national laws, useless
dismantled electric tools must be collected for re-assessment that does
not damage environment.
Warranty
We provide warranty for material or manufacturing defects of our ma-
chines, in accordance with the legal provisions of the respective country,
however 12 months as the minimum. In the European Union countries,
the warranty period is 24 months for exclusively private use (demon-
strated by invoice or delivery note).
Any damages resulting from common wear, overloading, improper han-
dling or - in other words - damages caused by the user, or caused by
use that is contradictory to the directions for use, or damages that were
known at the time of purchase, are excluded from the warranty.
Complaints can only be accepted if the undismantled machine is sent
back to the supplier or to the authorized NAREX service shop. Make sure
you save the Directions for Use, Safety Instructions, List of Spare Parts
and Proof of Purchase in a safe place. Otherwise the current warranty
terms of the manufacturer always apply.
Information on noise level and
vibrations
Measured values were obtained according to EN 60745.
EPL 10-5 E; EPL 10-5 BE
Sound pressure level L
pA
= 88 dB (A).
Sound power level L
wA
= 99 dB (A).
Measuring inaccuracy K = 3 dB (A).
ATTENTION! Noise is generated during work!
Use ear protection!
EPL 10-5 E
The weighed effective vibration acceleration value is 17 m.s
-2
.
Measuring inaccuracy K = 2 m.s
-2
.
EPL 10-5 BE
The weighed effective vibration acceleration value is 9 m.s
-2
.
Measuring inaccuracy K = 2 m.s
-2
.
The emission values specified (vibration, noise) were measured in ac-
cordance with the test conditions stipulated in EN 60745 and are intend-
ed for machine comparisons. They are also used for making preliminary
estimates regarding vibration and noise loads during operation.
The emission values specified refer to the main applications for which
the power tool is used. If the electric power tool is used for other ap-
plications, with other tools or is not maintained sufficiently prior to
operation, however, the vibration and noise load may be higher when
the tool is used.
Take into account any machine idling times and downtimes to estimate
these values more accurately for a specified time period. This may signif-
icantly reduce the load during the machine operating period.
