•  Consumers may transport these batteries on public roads

without a problem

•  Commercial transportation of lithium-ion batteries by trans-

portation companies must comply with the regulation on

hazardous load transportation Only trained personnel may

carry out the preparation and the actual transport The entire

process must have expert supervision

The following must be maintained during battery

transportation:

•  Make sure that contacts are protected and isolated to prevent

a short circuit

•  Be careful so that a  large number of batteries do  not move

around or fall and collapse during transport

•  Damaged and leaking batteries cannot be transported

Please contact your carrier for additional information

Warning!!

It is not expected for the user to perform any service repairs on the

charger There are no spare parts inside the charger, which users

could repair on their own It is necessary to bring the charger to

your nearest authorised service centre to prevent damage to spare

parts, which are sensitive to static electricity, for example
Always use the right set of batteries (the set delivered with the

tools or a  replacement set recommended by Narex sro) Never

use any other sets of accumulator batteries because they could

damage your tools and cause a hazardous situation

Mounting a Saw Blade

The cutting power and quality of the cut are highly dependent on

the condition and shape of the teeth Only use sharp saw blades

suited for the given type of material

When mounting the blade, make sure the orientation

of the teeth aligns with the sense of rotation of the

spindle (indicated by an arrow on the guard).

Lift up the movable guard (3a) using the lever (3b) and fit a cleaned

saw blade (7) onto the spindle (4) You can put the movable guard

back in place Mount a cleaned clamping flange (5) onto the fitting

on the spindle (4), then screw a cleaned clamping screw (6) on top

of it Tighten the saw blade (7) onto the spindle by inserting a hex

key (8) into the clamping screw (6), pressing the spindle arresting

button (9) and tightening the screw with the key

Changing Saw Blades

The saw blade (7) is removed by reversing the procedure

Setting Depth of Cut

Loosen the depth of cut arresting lever (14b)
Use the scale on the depth of cut guide slot (14a) to set the depth

of choice

Lift up: lower depth of cut
Lower down: higher depth of cut

Re-tighten the depth of cut arresting lever (14b)

Depth of cut is set correctly if the saw blade does not protrude

through the other side of the workpiece by more than 3 mm.

Setting Cutting Angle

Loosen the angle locking screw (12c)
Use the blade angle scale (12a) to set the angle of choice (the angle

scale is graded in 1° increments)
Re-tighten the angle locking screw (12c)

The depth of cut when cutting at an angle is lower than indi-

cated on the depth of cut scale.

Parallel Stop (Guide)

Slide the scale guide  (13) into the guide slot  (13a) in the guide

plate (11) and secure it with the guide fastening screw (13b) The

guide allows for the making of parallel cuts along a straight edge

and cutting strips of identical sizes

Starting the Machine

Inserting and Removing the Accumulator

Slide the accumulator (B1) all the way into the shaft on the ma-

chine’s handle Pull on the accumulator to make sure it is fitted

properly
To remove the accumulator  (B1) from the machine, push on the

accumulator clamp (B2) and pull the accumulator out

Turning the Machine On

The machine is fitted with a safety device to prevent an acci-

dental start (2).

Push the safety (2) in, hold it in place and press the switch (1) You

can release the safety once the machine is running Pressing the

switch (1) automatically activates LED lighting (5) to illuminate the

space around the cut

Turning the Machine Off

Release the switch (1) The rundown time of the spindle is short-

ened by a brake once the machine is off

Work Instructions

Fasten the workpiece to a solid base.

Feed that is too high greatly reduces the performance of the tool

and shortens the life of the saw blade and the motor Use sharp saw

blades suited for the given type of material A thin oil film on the

saw blade prevents rusting
Clean the saw blade immediately after work Glue and resin resi-

dues reduce the quality of the cut

Cutting Plastic

Cutting plastic creates long, spiral shavings Electrostatic charge

may cause the hole for chip extraction (16) to clog and the mova-

ble guard (3a) to get stuck
Workpieces made of plastic must make good contact with the

base/supports underneath Make careful cuts and work smoothly,

steadily and without interruptions This prevents the teeth from

getting smeared with plastic and keeps the cut smooth and clean

Checking Accumulator Status

The machine is fitted with an accumulator status control panel (B3)
Press the control button (B4) on the accumulator status panel (B3)

An accumulator status indicator  (B5) will light up based on the

state of charge (capacity) of the accumulator

Overview of accumulator’s state of charge (capacity) indication:

Number of fully lit LEDs

Accumulator's state of charge

3

100 %

2

less than 60 %

1

less than 30 %

Electronic Safeguards

The machine is fitted with circuitry designed to prevent serious

damage to the machine If the electronics detect any of the faults/

defects below, the machine stops immediately Remove the fault/

defect by proceeding in accordance with the table

Overview of safety features and methods for returning the machine to operation:

Type of safety feature

Solution

Low accumulator voltage
(indicated on the accumulator)

Recharge / replace the

accumulator

Machine overload (machine

was switched off due to recoil

or excessive load)

Release and then press the

power switch again

Overheating (critical temper-

ature of the motor, the elec-

tronics or the accumulator was

reached)

Let the machine cool off
