INFLATING THE MATTRESS
1. Remove Sportz Air Mattress from packaging and unfold it onto a flat surface.
2. Locate the built-in hand pump (C) and turn it to face upwards. Note: Before inflating,
ensure that the inflation/deflation valves located on the side are closed (A & B).
3. Unscrew the plastic pump cap (E) located on the hand pump valve and remove the plug (D).
4. Place your hand or foot on the pump and begin pumping up and down to fill the mattress with
air. Be sure to allow air into the valve with each pump.
5. Continue inflating the mattress until it reaches desired firmness. Do not over inflate.
6. Place the plug back in the hand pump valve and screw on the plastic cap.
7. Before use, flip air mattress so that the soft side is facing upward.
ALTERNATE INFLATION METHODS
A. The small inflation valve located on the side of the air mattress (A), may be used to inflate the
air mattress by mouth.
B. The large inflate/deflate (B) valve may be used to inflate the air mattress using an electric pump
or hair dryer (on cold setting only).
1. Unscrew the cap on the large inflate/deflate valve located on the side of the air mattress.
2. Place the electric pump or hair dryer nozzle over the large inflate valve and fill.
DEFLATING THE MATTRESS
1. Unscrew the cap on the large inflate/deflate valve (B).
2. Force all air toward the valve opening until the mattress is completely deflated.
3. Fold the mattress toward the valve opening, place into carrying bag and store.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
•
Keep Sportz Air Mattress away from any sharp objects. Large cuts may not be repairable and will
not be covered by warranty.
•
Clean the mattress exterior using a mild detergent and water. Be sure to let mattress dry fully
before folding and storing.
•
Avoid filling with water or any other liquid as mold will occur and damage the internal pump.
•
Do not expose to chlorine/salt for long period of time without rinsing with water.

Sportz Air Mattresses are warranted for thirty (30) days. In
order for the warranty to be valid, the proof of purchase
(receipt from the place of purchase) is required to prove the
date of purchase.

Never introduce any flammable substance into the inflatable airbed.
•
Keep the storage bag away from babies and children.
•
Do not walk or jump on the airbed.
•
Do not use on or near water.
•
Make sure the area is flat, smooth, even and free of sharp objects that
could puncture the bed.
•
Keep pets away from the airbed. Pets may puncture the surface of the bed.
•
Do not obstruct the air passage opening or insert any objects into the
opening.
RISK OF SUFFOCATION
•
Infants have suffocated on inflatable mattresses.
Never place an infant 15 months and younger to
sleep on an inflatable mattress.
•
When used by children over 15 months old:
•
Provide at least a shoulder width space between
mattress and walls, dressers or other vertical
objects to avoid entrapment.
•
Always keep mattress fully inflated when in use.
