8.22. Switching the central brake on and off
Fig.8.22.
In order to activate the central brake, press the brake pedal down, towards the ground,
until it clicks (see Fig.8.22). A clear "click" sound is proof of the central brake being
activated correctly.
To switch off the central brake, pull the brake pedal up.
8.23. Tilting foot
Fig.8.23.
The tilting foot is on the right side of the cross-beam at the rear of the rehab
buggy frame (see Fig. 8.23). To use it, press the tilting foot and simultaneously
pull the pushing handle of the rehab buggy, which in turn will raise the front of
the rehab buggy with the front wheels.
Using the tilting foot facilitates the entry of the rehab buggy to small thresholds
or curbs.
8.24. Frame clips for seat mounting
Fig.8.24.
There are two colored, chrome, transverse hooks that are located on the rehab
buggy frame in its center (see Fig. 8.24). These two frame rods are very
important elements in the construction of the rehab buggy. They are used to
connect the therapeutic seat with the backrest to the frame of the rehab buggy.
In order to distinguish them from the gray frame reinforcements, they have been
marked with a color so that the person assembling the seat to the frame, uses
these colored hooks and does not make a mistake, and does not accidentally
assemble the seat to the gray frame reinforcements, because it is forbidden and
incorrect.
