The myPV CommsSafe is designed to require as little maintenance possible, but like
any equipment a little care ensures proper operation and a long life of reliable service
through the life of your Facility.
Recommended Maintenance Schedule
The myPV CommsSafe is designed to be maintenance free, and requires no regular
consumables or maintenance service under normal operational conditions.
The following table established recommended inspection frequency for preventative
maintenance scheduling.

Corrosion
Inspect the external and internal metal surfaces for signs of
corrosion. If corrosion is found, brush-clean affected areas to
remove oxidation and debris, prime and paint with an outdoor
rated paint specifically for metal (steel) surfaces.

UPS / Battery
Verify the UPS battery indicator lights are not red.. If any of the
UPS indicator lights are red, contact us to determine the
appropriate corrective action.

Cabinet (Seal,
Plastic Color,
and if there
are any
cracks)
If the plastic color changes the manufacturer has stated the
cabinets are UV rated but the dye pigment turn a bit more
yellow than when they were first installed, one thing worth
noting, long exposure to UV might cause slight discoloration
(light yellowish) that is normal and expected and not evidence
of a failure mode.
