Critical State
A
Logical Drive
is in a “critical” state if it has been configured at RAID
level 1, 3, 5, or 0+1, and one (and only one) of its SCSI drives is not
“online.” A logical drive is considered “critical” because any failure of
another of its SCSI drives may result in a loss of data.
Note:
I/O operation can only be performed with system drives that are online
or critical.
Cyclical Redundancy Check (CRC)
An error detection tool found on
Ultra 160 SCSI (Ultra3 SCSI)
. This tool
increases the odds for error free data.
DACCF

configuration utility for RAID configuration.
Data Transfer Rate
The amount of data per unit of time moved through a channel or
I/O bus
in
the course of execution of an I/O load, usually expressed in MBps.
