Emptying waste fluid tank 107

Emptying waste fluid tank

In the following cases, move the waste ink in the waste fluid tank into a container to discharge it.

• When Waste fluid tank is more than half full

• When “Full WasteInkTank” is displayed on operation panel.

Display messages

Emptying waste fluid tank

The waste fluid tank has become full. Empty the waste fluid tank

immediately.

• Printing or other operation will stop. It will resume when you have

carried out “ResetWasteInk” below.

Transfer the waste ink

Prepare a container to put the waste ink in, such as a waste fluid tank (sold separately).

Important!

The capacity of waste fluid tank is 2,000 ml. Make sure to prepare a container that has enough capacity when discharging waste ink.

Cover the floor beneath the waste fluid tank using paper you do not need or the like.

[3]

Open the waste fluid valve, and transfer the waste fluid to the

container.

[4]

After pouring the waste fluid to the empty container, close the waste

fluid valve securely.
