102 When it becomes time to replace ink

When the ink level becomes low, the error LED of the operation panel flashes and a buzzer sounds.

When a cartridge or pack is out of ink, the error LED on the operation panel flashes with beep sounds.

The printer pauses printing. After replacing with the new ink, it resume printing.

When it becomes time to replace ink

Steps

[1]

Press the [Enter] key.

• The buzzer stops.

• In the figure to the left, the slot 2 ink cartridge (ink bag) is nearing

replacement.

Prepare the replacement ink.

Note

Sleep mode continues after stopping the buzzer.

Replacing ink

Important!

• Do not replace ink when the power of this product is OFF. Ink level cannot be detected correctly.

• If ink is moved from cold to warm place, leave it at least three hours.

Leave ink cartridges (ink bags) away from fire or high temperature objects.

It may cause fire.

Steps for ink cartridge

Press the [Enter] key.

• The buzzer stops.

• In the icons shown on the left, the Slot 4 and 6 cartridges need

replacing.
